Request account & data deletion.
SMMS (Smart Maintenance Management System) is built and operated by NextBelt LLC. This page explains how to request deletion of your SMMS account and the personal data associated with it, and what happens to that data once you do.
SMMS accounts are provisioned by your organization.
SMMS is invite-only: your account was created for you by your employer or organization's administrator, and your organization owns the work orders, assets, and other records your team maintains in it. Because of that, account deletion is not a self-service toggle inside the mobile app or web app — it is a request we process together with your organization's administrator, the same way any other change to your access would be. This page is that request path.
What's deleted, and what we keep.
- Your account is deactivated and anonymized. Your name, email address, and other identifying profile fields are permanently removed from your account record and your login credentials are revoked. You will not be able to sign back in, and the account cannot be reactivated under your identity.
- Content that belongs only to you is deleted. Records tied solely to your account (for example, saved preferences or personal notification settings) are removed outright.
- Shared organizational records are kept, with your identity removed. Work orders, maintenance history, approvals, and similar records your team created together are your organization's business records, so they are not deleted — but your name, email, and other personal fields are stripped from them. What remains is your organization's operational history without your personal information attached to it.
- Legally required records are retained. Audit logs and consent records are kept unmodified, exactly as required by data-protection law's legal-obligation exception to erasure — the same position described in our Privacy Policy's retention schedule.
- ELISA voice input is never stored. Voice recordings used by the ELISA AI assistant are processed in real time to produce a text transcript and are not retained after that — this applies whether or not you ever request deletion.
- Backups age out on their own schedule. Routine database backups made before your request may still contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they, too, no longer contain it — the same backup-retention figure published in our Privacy Policy.

Tell us what to do with your account.
We verify that you are the account holder (or authorized to act on their behalf) before completing a request, and we coordinate with your organization's administrator to carry it out. We'll reply to the email address you provide.
